GAIL, Ahmedabad Zonal Office participated in the 4th National Plastics Exposition - PLEXPO 2007 held from January 25-28, 2007 at Ahmedabad, organized by Gujarat State Plastic Manufacturers Association. (GSPMA)

The theme of the exhibition was “Plastics Jeevan Ka Adhar”. GAIL’s stall attracted visitors from almost all over Gujarat and neighboring states which included both existing as well as potential customers. Product & technical enquiries of customers and GAIL’s expansion plans was discussed by officials manning the stall. The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to discuss market trends and new technological developments in plastic industry with customers.

The exhibition provided a platform to all the concerned entities associated with Plastics industry like, manufacturers, suppliers, traders & dealers of machinery, ancillary & testing equipments, raw material manufacturers, chemical & additives manufacturers and the end producers.

The exhibition also showcased usage of plastics in medical applications which was appreciated by all visitors. A strong message was communicated through displays /films that plastics are recyclable and not harmful to the environment.
