GAIL to host 29th PSPB Badminton tournament from Monday, 17th March

Top National players to be on view

GAIL (India) Limited will host the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board Badminton tournament from Monday, 17th March 2008 to 21st March 2008. The tournament will be inaugurated by Dr. U D Choubey, Chairman and Managing Director, GAIL. The tournament will be held at Siri Fort Sports Complex, Khel Gaon, New Delhi.

The tournament will see a line up of national champions including the current men and women national champions. A total of 100 players including men and women teams from eight companies will be participating in this tournament. B Chetan Anand of ONGC who is the current National Champion and Arvind Bhatt of BPCL who is the current National Runners-up are some of the prominent players in the Mens category. In the Womens category, Saina Nehwal of BPCL who is the current National Champion and Trupti Murugunde of IOCL who is the current National Runners-up are some of the prominent players participating in the tournament. The matches will be conducted by Badminton Association of India.
