GAIL Delhi Branch Offices organises Customer Meet
New Delhi, August 22, 2005 Delhi Branch Office of GAIL (India) Ltd. organized a Gas Customers Meet for the customers of NCR at Noida on 20th August 2005. There was a wide participation of customers from Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, Sikanderabad, Bahadurgarh, Kundli, Sonepat, Gurgaon and Noida in the meet.
The customers meet was chaired by Dr. U. D. Choubey, Director (Mktg.), GAIL (India) Ltd. Other senior officials from Marketing, Operations and Pricing departments were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Choubey highlighted various steps taken by GAIL to improve the services to the customers and also applauded their long association with GAIL. GAIL is supplying Regasified LNG and APM gas (from western offshore fields) to about 30 consumers in the NCR area. As an IT savvy organization GAIL has started electronic joint ticketing and e-invoicing to these consumers.
Being a leader in the gas industry, GAIL is maintaining a high degree of customer orientation and regular customer meets are organized to provide a face to face interaction between individual consumers and senior executives of GAIL. During the consumers’ meet, information was shared on e-banking, Energy Management and Gas Trading over a platform being developed in association with National Commodity & Derivative Exchange (NCDEX).
Since, all the concerned departments of GAIL were the part of the interactive session with Gas Customers many issues could be resolved on the spot.
