GAIL felicitates its petrochemical consignment stockists and customers

April 21, 2005, New Delhi GAIL (India) Limited felicitated top 12 consignment stockists and customers of its Polymer products in a function held on 20th April 2005 in Delhi. Shri J. K. Jain, Director (Finance) presented the top performing stockists and customers with trophies. Also present on the occasion were Shri M.R. Hingnikar, Director (HR); Dr. U. D. Choubey, Director (Marketing), Shri Alok Kumar, CVO; and Shri R. Suresh, Executive Director (Marketing). GAIL is the only company in the industry which felicitate top 12 consignment stockists by giving them a cash prize up to one lakh rupees. GAIL has a network of consignment stockists located in all major plastic processing centres in the country. Customers felicitated on the occasion included top business houses like Nilkamal Plastics, Sintax Industries, Garware Wall-ropes, Duraline India among others.

GAIL produces a range of quality polymer grades in High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) from its world class Petrochemical plant located at Pata, Distt Etawah (UP). Last year the company sold about 300,000 tonnes of polymers in a highly competitive market, which corresponds to a market share of about 22 per cent. GAIL supply chain management and network is designed to ensure regular supply of material through multiple delivery modes, both from production site, as well as stock points.
