Gas fire extinguished and supply remains uninterrupted.

Gas supply remains uninterrupted in the DESU- Maruti Pipeline despite an occurrence of a small fire in the pipeline near Dhaula Kuan in New Delhi. The fire was extinguished by isolating the pipeline section and the supply of gas was maintained through loop line. The location of fire is in a low lying area with grass and shrubs and is away from habitation.

There is no loss to life or property due to this fire. The pipeline is being exposed to ascertain extent and cause of leakage.
