Customer Meet, Daman

GAIL Mumbai Zonal Office organized a Consumer Meet for Petrochemical Customers at Daman on 25th November 2006. The Zonal General Manager of Mumbai Zone, Mr. V.C. Chittoda was present to grace the occasion with other senior officials from GAIL Mumbai Zone.

Mr. Kaushik Majumdar, Manager (PC- Mktg.) welcomed the customers and introduced the new Zonal General Manager, Mr. V.C.Chittoda.

Mr. V. C. Chittoda in his inaugural address briefed the consumers about GAIL, stressing more on the Petrochemical Plant of GAIL and its various products. He also expressed pleasure for the fact that Daman territory contributes to 60% of Polymer Sales of Mumbai Zonal Office and thus looked forward to such interactions.

Mr. Ajay Chitre, Territory Manager, Daman gave a detailed presentation on “GAILs Performance and Future initiatives” where he highlighted GAILs performance in the polymer and gas sectors, spoke about GAILs plans in the future and about the e initiatives taken by GAIL.

Mr. Kaushik Mazumdar, Manager (PC – Mktg.) in his presentation on “Latest trends in Polymer technology” gave a valuable insight about how this technology will benefit today’s customers. His presentation was appreciated by all present.

Thereafter the forum was open for discussion wherein the major concern of the customers was delay in receipt of material and availability constraint.

Mr. Kamal Tandon, Chief Manager (Marketing) thanked the customers for their participation and also assured them that the Marketing team would address the queries raised by the customers.

This Meet was another step taken to develop a mutually beneficial relationship with its esteemed customers
