Analyst Meet, Mumbai

An Analyst meet was held at GAIL Mumbai on 2nd May 2006. Mr. Proshanto Banerjee, CMD- GAIL, Mr. U. D. Choubey, Director (Marketing), Mr. R.K. Goel, Director (Finance) along with other senior executives of GAIL Mumbai were present on the occasion.

Ms. Nalini Malhotra, Sr. Manager (Treasury) welcomed the analysts and compeered the meet. Mr. R. C. Gupta, DGM (MAC) gave a presentation on GAIL where he spoke in length about the Financial & Physical Performance of GAIL and gave an overview on the Indian Gas Sector. He shared various insightful details about GAIL with the analysts viz. the Growth plans of GAIL, GAILs Business strategy, Key Issues, Recent Laurels etc. A highly interactive question and answer session followed the presentation which had the analysts pose a variety of questions about the Supply Outlook, Current and Expected Performance of GAIL, Pricing, Sourcing, E&P etc. which were effectively handled by the Top management of GAIL.

The meeting was well attended by around 120 Analysts and was thus a huge success.
