Lucknow Zonal CSR Initiative – Animal adoption at Lucknow Zoo

A cheque for Rs. 3,40,900.00 was handed over by Mr. T.K. Goon, Zonal General Manager, LZO to Ms. Eva Sharma, Director, Lucknow Zoo on 18.03.2006 towards adoption of animals and rare species in Lucknow Zoo, in a simple ceremony under Corporate Social Responsibility Policy. All the employees of LZO and Zoo functionaries were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Zonal GM, GAIL Lucknow elaborated upon the various initiatives taken by GAIL as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. The above responsibilities have been complemented by an investment in communities, thus, creating a positive impact in the society as well as the environment.

During, the occasion, Ms. Eva Sharma, Director, Lucknow Zoo also expressed her sincere thanks to GAIL Authorities for this noble endeavor. She also mentioned that in the year 2004-05, GAIL was the highest donor to the Lucknow Zoo
