Shri Arvind Jadhav is appointed CVO, GAIL

Shri Arvind Jadhav has taken over as CVO, GAIL with effect from 01.03.2007. He is an Indian Administrative Service officer of Karnataka State Cadre. He has worked on various positions in the state govt. that include local government, development sectors like rural development, irrigation, command area development, industrial promotion & development, public finance, sericulture, horticulture, education, silk marketing & exports, mining, housing board and energy. Before joining GAIL, he was holding the position of Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India and was looking after Accelerated Power Development & Reforms Programme, Rural Electrification and Information Technology in the Ministry.

Shri Jadhav, has done his Master of Arts from Kanpur, PG Diploma in International Trade from IIFT, New Delhi and Certificate course in Export Promotion from Italian Institute of Foreign Trade, Italy and MBA from Curtin University, Australia. He was on the Board of Directors of NPCIL, Power Finance Corporation and Rural Electrification Corporation as a Government Nominee.
