Petrochemical Customer’s Meet at Ahmedabad
A Petrochemical customer’s meet was organized by Ahmedabad Zonal Office (AZO) at Hotel Grand Bhagwati, Ahmedabad on the 26th of March, 2007. The meet was attended by customers of Ahmedabad and adjoining areas
Sri Kishore Mahashabde, Chief Manager-Mktg-PC, in his welcome address emphasized the importance of raffia sector in GAIL’S marketing strategy which contributes to a major chunk of AZO sales.
Shri Pankaj Srivastav, DM (PC- Mktg.) made a presentation on “Polyethylene Industry-An Economic Outlook” covering areas of international & domestic price trends, capacity additions in Indian, Asian countries impacting the demand supply position.
Shri S. Venkatraman, ZGM-AZO shared various initiatives taken by GAIL, and further deliberated on the potential and growth avenues of polymer consumption in the country.
Various issues and queries raised by the customers during Interactive Session were suitability addressed.
