Shri Sundararajan was at the helm of developing BPCL’s Information Technology Department and, when he was chairman, he played the lead role in implementing a major “aspirational transformation programme” that helped BPCL to acquire the capability to take on the fierce competition that was inevitable after the deregulation of the oil industry.
He is an active advisor to the Associated Cement Companies Ltd. on the industry’s transformation plans, and also works with the Mumbai-based Petroleum India International.
